Our second-floor condo at 618 Bayport Way sits in the middle of Bayport Beach and Tennis Club on Longboat Key, a short walk from the pool, the clubhouse, Sarasota Bay and the Gulf beach. Recently remodeled, it has two bedrooms, two baths, a screened lanai with a peek-a-boo view of the bay, and a real office nook with a printer and monitor for anyone who needs to work while they are here.
Rentals are monthly, with a 30-day minimum. Florida and Sarasota County taxes of 13% are added to the rate.

Inside the condo
The living and dining room runs the length of the condo and opens onto the screened lanai, so the whole space fills with light. The dining table seats six, and the living room has plenty of seating and a flat-screen TV.
The condo was recently remodeled, with new tile floors throughout. The kitchen is fully stocked for cooking, with stainless appliances and a glass tile backsplash. A high-top table with two stools sits at the kitchen window, which is where our morning coffee usually happens. The washer and dryer are in their own alcove.
The primary bedroom has a king bed, a TV, a reading chair and the office nook. Its remodeled bath has a walk-in shower, a double-sink quartz vanity and a walk-in closet. The guest bedroom has a queen bed and a twin bed, and the guest bath has a walk-in shower.
We replace linens regularly, so every stay starts fresh.
Outdoors
The screened lanai looks out over Bayport’s landscaped grounds with a peek-a-boo view of the water. At the front door there is a deck with seating for four and two lounge chairs.

Bayport covers 27 landscaped acres that run from Sarasota Bay to the Gulf of Mexico. Renters have full access to all of the amenities:
