Bayport Condos is a small, owner-run website for monthly rentals at 618 and 737 Bayport Way, Bayport Beach and Tennis Club, Longboat Key, Florida. This page explains what information we collect, what we do with it and the choices you have. In this policy, “we” and “us” mean the owners of the condos listed on this site.
What we collect
We only collect what you choose to send us. When you use our inquiry form, we receive:
- Your name, email address and phone number
- Which condo you are asking about, your preferred arrival month, length of stay and number of adults
- How you heard about us, and anything you write in your message
If you call us at (941) 315-9026, we see your phone number and anything you tell us on the call.
Like most websites, our hosting and security tools automatically record basic technical details when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you view. We use these only to keep the site running and protect it from attacks. If you allow analytics cookies, Google Analytics also collects information about how you use the site (see Analytics below).
How we use your information
- To answer your inquiry, check dates and quote a rate
- To prepare and manage your rental if you book with us
- To keep the website secure and working properly
- To understand, in total, how visitors find and use the site so we can improve it
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We do not send marketing email lists, and we do not use advertising trackers or advertising features on this site.
Where your information goes
Inquiry form messages are sent to our business inbox, info@bayport-condos.com, which forwards to the owners’ email hosted by Google (Gmail). The form does not save your message in the website itself. The website is hosted by Namecheap in the United States. If you book a stay, the details needed for the rental may be shared with the Bayport Beach and Tennis Club office for the required HOA registration.
We keep inquiry emails as long as they are useful for answering you and managing rentals, then delete them.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to see how visitors use the site, for example which pages are viewed most, how people arrive here and roughly where they are visiting from (country or region). Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information such as pages viewed, time on the site, device and browser type, and general location. This tells us about visitors in total; it does not tell us who you are.
Google Analytics only runs if you allow analytics cookies in our cookie banner. Google processes this information under Google’s privacy policy, and you can learn more in how Google uses information from sites that use its services. You can also block Google Analytics on all websites with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Cookies
This site uses a small number of cookies. Some are necessary for the site to work and to remember your cookie choice. Others are optional analytics cookies from Google Analytics, which are only set if you allow them. When the site first loads, a cookie banner lets you accept, reject or customize optional cookies, and you can change your choice at any time through that banner.
Embedded videos
Some pages include a video from YouTube. When you play it, YouTube (Google) may set its own cookies and collect information under Google’s privacy policy.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we have about you, ask us to correct it or ask us to delete it. Email info@bayport-condos.com, call (941) 315-9026 or send a message through our contact form, and we will take care of it. Visitors from Canada and other countries have the same options.
Children
This site is meant for adults planning a rental. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
